By The churches and Church groups in Eastern India has been openly asked believers to not surrender Christian principles and faith for the sake of money, development into the hands of those who seek to “pierce the heart of Jesus Christ.”
Biggest church organizations and The Baptist Church Council (NBCC), has asked believers to choose between ‘Trishul’ and ‘Cross’. It is direct violation of poll code.. In the mean time, the Congress party that ruled India for 60+ years has been busy dividing Hindus and working with Christian missionaries and portraying the Indian Prime Minister as villain of minorities (In Many Eastern states Hindus are minorities with no benefits) and the party BJP as anti minority party.
Irrespective of all these dictates from churches to choose the Cross even though you have to sacrifice of development and Sunday classes and meetings and print campaigns suggesting the Christians to choose Cross over TriShul was rejected and Hindu Nationalist party BJP led by Prime Minister Sri Narendhra Modi is very telling. People in East India today chose TriShul over the propagated Cross.
From long before the assembly elections, RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) has been working in Eastern part of Bharat tirelessly. (RSS) raised a demand for conferring the country’s highest civilian award, the Bharat Ratna, to Rani Gaidinliu, the legendary Nagaland freedom fighter.
If Rani Gaidinliu was a peg on which they can hang BJP’s North Eastern aspiration, the lack of development in the region became the focal point for the RSS’s work on the ground. It reached out to various tribes through the network of affiliates such as Vanvasi Kalyan Ashram, an organization that runs health and education services for the tribal communities, and Seva projects, which are aimed in offering help in the deprived remote areas.
The results are visible after the BJP won Assam and followed it up with another win in Manipur. Work began soon after the Christian dominated Nagaland and Meghalaya, where the BJP has gained and could well be a part of the government; and, in the Left turf of Tripura, where the BJP looks all set to form the government.
An RSS functionaries from the region said at the heart of the Sangh’s work are an attempt to address the “neglect” and deprived people by previous governments at the Center also.
“The Sangh has been active in the entire Eastern region, providing education to the children of tribes that are been neglected. Our work is not political, but the issues that we address are also raised by the BJP, so there is convergence of thought,” said a senior functionary of the Sangh, requesting anonymity.
Many years of work of RSS in this region has benefited today the Prime Minster Modi lead BJP. Sangh was presented as anti-minority by opposition, against the Church, and some tribal groups were also misinformed that Sangh wants them to forgo their traditions. All of these accusations have been proved wrong,” said an RSS functionary from Meghalaya, where the Sangh has been wooing Garo, Jaintia and Khasi tribes.
Also it is very important to know that RSS has lost many of its activists and leaders to captivity and killing by Christian and Left groups. Lots of sacrifices from various attacks and murders have got delivered as election result today says one RSS Activist.
People in Eastern India have dared to break away the shackles of the Churches and Christian missionaries to get freedom from religious backwardness, freedom from poverty, freedom from shrinkage of lifestyle and income at last. Eastern India has voted against all those things for which the status co stood for. Bravo Eastern India!!! You have set out an example today by choosing Trishul over the Cross and wiping out Communist party and its allies along with the Mother of all Scams and anti nationalism the Congress party. Very sure, this will have a great impact in upcoming elections in many states of Bharat, especially in poll bound Karnataka very soon.
