Shendalangaara Sampathkumara Ramanuja Jeeyar from Mannarkudi, in Tamil Nadu, Bharat doing Sanatana Dharma Prachar in between Poor & Hari Jan ( Thiru Kullathhar) is not only following the footsteps of Ramanujacharya in reaching out to all with no discrimination and also preaching the message of Peace and Love of Santana Dharma.
This incredible Saint and disciple of Ramanujacharya also actively involved in social work such as helping during the natural calamity or disaster and also in general going to the homes of poor and downtrodden and increasing their faith in them self, Lord Narayana and Santana Dharma as a whole. He also educate them to light lamps in their huts and pray together by saying simple slokas and helping them to attain peace and property.
Mannargudi Jeyar once went to a slum area close to a church. But the people in that area didn’t allow him to come inside the place or their homes. And they also told him that if he comes to their area his legs will be cut off. Without saying a word he went to a close by tea stall and started having tea. One lady from the area saw this and went to him and asked what is this swami you are having tea in this stall and for that he answered if you call me to your home , I will have their only, but you people are not allowing me to come to your home. Then the lady took him to her home and gave tea. After watching this incident lot of people became his disciples from that area.
Ashok Kumar, who is from the same town of Mannarkudi says.. ” Revolutionizing in the way of Ramanujacharya… Mannargudi Jeeyar frequently visits colonies of Hari Jan communities and bring them together. He also openly speaks against conversion activities by other religions and insists on Hindu unity. If there is any problem in Hindu society, he goes immediately on to the field and solve their problems. He also doing lots of Seva activities like gifting note books to the poor children and conducts Lakshmi Pooja for their prosperity etc. The Mannargudi Jeeyar presence inspires the less fortunate and Dalits.”
Mannarkudi Jeeyar is one good example of a great saint and a hero who will never get to covered by the paid media world of today for all the good work he does, but silently working with the needy people with no discrimination spreading the message of Santana Dharma. He faces a strong opposition from Christian missionaries and other religious sect who see him as a threat to their conversion activity.
Some time he also has to face the head wind from his own fraternity as they see him as a challenge to the status quo and threat to the so called traditional following. But he cares less as he sees the service of Lord himself in the service of poor and he continues the teachings of Acharya Ramanujta as a whole…This certainly makes this Saint a Real life hero..
We will highly recommend all the well wishers and warriors of Santana Dharma to contact him and help and encourage in any way possible as we need more people like him today in our society. Thank You Shendalangaara Ramanuja Jeeyar for your incredible service.
